After reviewing the Panda Hybrid mattress, I noticed that they have also released a Pro version! Naturally, I wanted to get my hands on it in order to understand the differences. My Panda Pro mattress was delivered about a week ago so I am ready now to write this review.

The cover of this mattress is made of bamboo. They chose this material for a number of reasons. For starters, bamboo is very breathable and has the ability to regulate temperature. Secondly, it’s naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic so it’s suitable for those with allergies or sensitive skin. And finally, bamboo is an eco-friendly material as it requires way less water when compared to other materials like cotton.
The design is a beautiful one and it combines a white top part with a black bottom one. The top part is removable and machine-washable. This makes it easy to clean and it adds practicality. Unfortunately, the mattress doesn’t come with side handles and this is the main drawback that I see here. The sleeping surface feels soft and it has a nice plush feeling. Overall, this is a great cover that won’t disappoint.
Comfort & Support
I want to continue writing this Panda Hybrid Pro mattress review and discuss its feel. As I have mentioned earlier, this is a mattress built for those with a bad back so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 7 with 10 being really firm. That makes this mattress a firmer option when compared to other boxed mattresses. I want to talk now about my experience with it during the past week.
Lying on my back, the sleeping surface felt very supportive and this mattress was what I expected. Pressure relief was great and I felt comfortable sleeping this way.
Turning to the side position, the springs adjusted but I felt that the mattress could do a better job with my spinal alignment. Nothing too bad but there was definitely room for improvement.
Finally, moving to the front position, the Hybrid Pro was one of the best options out there. The firmness was ideal and if you are a front sleeper, this is definitely a mattress to consider.
The mattress is a solid construction so you should expect great edge support. If you are a couple, this mattress will suit you as the motion transfer is minimal and you won’t disturb each other during sleep.

Panda is a maker that values its customers and for this reason, they offer a great package. For starters, you will get a free delivery service that usually takes between 3-7 working days. This might not be the fastest service out there but it’s packed with some extra add-ons that make all the difference. That includes a free nominated day and room-of-choice delivery. But what is even more impressive is that they offer free old mattress removal which is something that no other maker offer.
In my case, I got my mattress within 3 working days and I remind you that I am based in London. I didn’t have an old mattress to recycle but I did use the other two services and they were very useful. Communication was also excellent and the whole process was straightforward.
