When designing this mattress, the people at DreamCloud wanted to give it a more premium character. For this reason, they chose a blend that is made of rayon and polyester. This is a good combination that has a number of properties. For starters, polyester makes it quite breathable and adds durability. Secondly, rayon is a silk alternative and adds a premium feel. Finally, this blend sleeps cool so you won’t feel hot even during the summer months.
The design is beautiful and has a nice premium feel. The mattress looks much more expensive than it actually is so credit should go to their design team. On the sides, there are 4 handles that will help you move this mattress and that is super handy as this is a heavy one. Unfortunately, the cover is not removable so you cannot pop it inside your washing machine. This is the main drawback here but it’s something I expected from a hotel-style mattress. Other than that, this is a fantastic cover that will impress you.
Comfort & Support
I want to continue writing this DreamCloud Luxury mattress review and talk about its feel. This is a mattress designed to offer both comfort and support so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.6 with 10 being really firm. It’s time now to talk about my experience with it during the past ten days.
Starting from the back, the mattress distributed my weight evenly and this took the pressure off my joints. Support was great and I felt very comfortable sleeping this way.
Turning to the side position, the mattress remained supportive and the springs adjusted quickly. There was no discomfort in my hip area and I felt that the DreamCloud Luxury mattress would be a great choice for side sleepers.
Finally, turning to the front position, the mattress did a great job handling my weight and despite being a medium-firm mattress, it performed really well in this position. As a result, I can comfortably say that this mattress is a true all-rounder.
Another great thing about this mattress is its edge support. That means that getting in and out of bed won’t be an issue. Moreover, the springs are specifically designed to minimise motion transfer so couples that sleep together won’t disturb each other.

If you decide to buy this mattress, you will get a free delivery service that usually takes between 2-5 working days. Moreover, they give you the option to choose the specific day your mattress will be delivered and this is super practical for anyone with a busy schedule. Finally, for an extra £45, you can have your old mattress removed which in my opinion is an excellent and cost-efficient add-on.
In my case, I had to wait for 4 working days and I was well-informed about every step of the process. The courier was very friendly and my mattress was delivered to my doorstep. It’s quite a heavy mattress so make sure you have some help in order to move it to the room of your choice. The setup is an easy one and you will be able to sleep on it in no time. Overall, I was happy with their service but this is something I expected from such a brand.
