The cover of this mattress is made of polyester and it’s a quilted one. They took this approach to add a more premium character to this mattress and in my opinion, it worked quite well. Polyester is a breathable material that allows airflow and that helps the sleeping surface to sleep cool. Moreover, polyester is very durable and it’s a material that will last you long. Finally, it will hold its shape so you will avoid having a loose cover.
One of the things I love about this cover is its design. It’s a modern one, combining dark grey sides with a top white part. On the sides, you will find 4 handles that will help you move it and at the bottom, they have added anti-slip elements. All these are practical features that will make your life easier. Overall, this is a well-rounded cover that won’t disappoint.
Comfort & Support
It’s time to continue writing this Nectar Premier mattress review and talk about its firmness. This mattress was designed with the average sleeper in mind so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.5 with 10 being really firm. I want to talk now about my experience with it during the past ten days.
Lying on my back, the mattress instantly hugged my hips and shoulders and I felt that pressure relief was excellent. The mattress distributed my weight evenly and I was quite comfortable in this position.
Turning to the side position, the mattress surprised me as it adjusted quite quickly for a foam-only mattress. I didn’t feel any extra pressure on my hips or shoulders and support remained at a high level.
Finally, turning to the stomach position, I would probably prefer a firmer mattress but I was still well-supported and the mattress did a good job. As a result, I can say that this is a true all-rounder so it will probably fit all types of sleepers.
If you sleep with a partner, the Nectar Premier is an excellent choice as the lack of springs means no partner disturbance. On the other hand, the edge support is average but this is something I expected from such a mattress.

They offer a relatively fast service that takes between 1-3 working days. Additionally, for an extra fee (£45), you can have your old mattress removed. This is fantastic as it’s not always very easy to get rid of your old mattress.
In my case, it only took two working days and as you know, I am based in London. My mattress was delivered by DPD and the whole process was quite smooth. The courier was helpful and the box arrived in excellent condition. It wasn’t too heavy and I managed to set it up by myself. Overall, I was happy with their service and I have no complaints.
