This mattress features a high-quality cover that is made of premium viscose. The latter is a great choice as it has a number of great properties. Firstly, it’s lightweight and it’s silky soft. Secondly, viscose is a very durable material, so this cover will last for a long time. Lastly, it has the ability to wick moisture away, which will lead to a more comfortable sleep. The cover is hand-stitched and features a nice tufted pattern. The design is a neutral one, featuring a white colour combined with silver details.
The cover doesn’t lack practicality, and it comes with 4 handles on the side. These are very helpful since this is a dual-sided mattress and will help you flip it whenever this is needed. Unfortunately, the cover is not removable or machine-washable, so if you get it stained, you should only spot-clean it. Overall, this is a high-quality cover that impressed me.
Comfort & Support
It’s time to continue writing this OTTY Natural Origin mattress review and discuss its feel. This is a medium-firm mattress that is closer to a firm one. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 7.8 with 10 being really firm. I want to share now my experience with it during the past ten days.
Starting from the back, as always, the mattress provided my body with adequate support and the weight distribution was optimal. It was quite comfortable sleeping this way, and there were no pressure points on my back.
Turning to the side position, the mattress reacted quickly, and this helped my spine to align correctly. The sleeping surface felt slightly firmer than I would have preferred for this position, but I was still comfortable sleeping this way.
Finally, moving to the front position, the OTTY Natural Origin had the ideal feel, and I think it would be a fantastic choice for all stomach sleepers.
The mattress is well-made, so you should expect excellent edge support. Moreover, it’s designed to minimise motion transfer so you won’t disturb your partner during sleep.
